Our Pastor - Lloyd G. Thomas

In the Begining

Suffragan Bishop Lloyd G. Thomas is the pastor of Faith Chapel. He gave his life to the Lord in June 1965 and was baptised in the name of Jesus. In January 1966 he received the infilling of the Holy Spirit.

Appointment to Lead

He was appointed a Minister in 1977 and ordained District Elder by the late Bishop Pitt in 1991. He was a part of the Church when it moved from Tooting to Clapham Common then finally to Peckham, its current home.

The Holy Anointing

The then District Elder was appointed Pastor of Faith Chapel in 1995, after the death of Bishop Pitt in January 1995. In April 2004, he was ordained Suffragan Bishop and assigned to oversee the District of Germany within the European Council of Nations.

Kingdom Ministries & Church Growth

The ministry has grown and continues to grow under his leadership and his vision has seen the birth of various ministries to cater for the needs of the entire congregation. He is married to Anita Thomas who has been by his side for over 40 years.
