Kidz Explosion is the children's ministry of Faith Chapel. Each member of our Children's Ministry Team has one thing in common: a passion for children.
Our vision is to reach children with the gospel of Jesus Christ in a fun, child-friendly environment. We have therefore developed an action-packed fast moving programme with the use of multimedia, games, competitions, music, songs, drama and stories. Our aim is to make our programme one of the highlights of any child's week. There are two types of services: Kidz Explosion Urban is our Saturday morning kids club taking place fortnightly during term time at Faith Chapel from 11.00 - 12.30 a.m. for children aged 5 - 12. Kidz Explosion J.A.M is our children's church which takes place fortnightly on Sundays during the Sunday morning service for children aged 3 - 12.
We have a team of visitors which go out into the local community on a fortnightly basis and visit all the children who attend and also invite other children to come along. We believe that in order to be effective in reaching children we need to keep ourselves sharp in the area of children and methods of reaching them. Training is therefore a paramount requirement of all our workers and each of our training sessions is designed to encourage, equip, energize and empower for ministry. This is done through internal, external and on the job training. Training programmes and opportunities for service within Kidz Explosion are also available for the youth and we have a junior leadership team of children and teen workers known as The Krew who work within the ministry and are trained on a monthly basis. There are currently five Krew departments: The Technical Krew, Praise & Worship Krew, Puppet & Drama Krew, Hospitality Krew and the Stage Krew.
Kidz Explosion has been running since February 2001 and has had over 250 children in attendance.

On Friday 8th October 2004 TRANSIT, the new youth ministry of Faith Chapel, was launched. It caters for youth between the ages of 13 and 25. Currently TRANSIT services are held every 2nd Friday of the month.
TRANSIT's vision is to "disciple youth, equipping them to develop their relationship with God in order to become spiritually mature and influential to their peers". The ministry aims to help them to develop their God-given gifts and talents in an exciting and fun-filled environment. Providing opportunities for fulfilling their purpose whilst becoming spiritually, emotionally and relationally whole adults. This vision will be achieved by a number of ways, such as the teaching of the word of God in a relevant and practical way, through various creative means and training the youth in various areas of ministry in preparation for their role in the local church and in outreach programmes.

The women's ministry serves the 1st Wednesday of every month. It has moved from its humble beginnings of cooking and sewing classes to preparing all women for excellence according to Proverbs 31: 10-31. This ministry helps to prepare women with real issues that affect their lives in church and the secular world. Their purpose is to help propel every Christian woman to reach their full potential in Christ and to be effective in her ministry. One of our highlights each year is hosting a "Women Celebration" day. It focuses on celebrating being a woman in all her glory.

This ministry operates the 2nd Wednesday of every month. Two of its main events are the annual men's conference and a men's retreat. The purpose of the ministry is that it endeavours to reach all men and bring them into alignment with the image of God. The Lord has opened a door of opportunity for the men of Faith Chapel to work with men who are incarcerated. The results have been overwhelming with inmates giving their lives to Christ. The men's ministry also focuses on helping those that are emotionally wounded.
